These terms apply between [Company name] (“GateWell”) and the business customer (“you”) for the use of the GateWell service. Deviating terms of yours apply only if we agree to them in writing.

The service

GateWell gates software releases behind checks, canary steps and automatic rollback. The features available to you depend on your plan. We may improve the service, and we will tell you in advance about changes that reduce core functionality.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accounts you create, for keeping credentials safe and for what happens under them. Tell us without delay if you suspect misuse.

Acceptable use

You will not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it or other systems, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to resell it without our written consent.

Fees and payment

Fees follow the plan you choose. Paid plans renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are exclusive of statutory VAT. Invoices are due within [14] days.

Availability

We aim for [99.9]% monthly availability for paid plans. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. GateWell supports your release process, but you remain responsible for what you deploy.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and where the law requires it. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damage. [Have this clause checked for your jurisdiction.]

Term and termination

Either side can terminate at the end of the current billing period. Either side can terminate for good cause at any time. After termination we delete your data within [30] days, unless the law requires otherwise.
